Lich King Phase 2

Hi Guys,

Can i make a quick suggestion for sunday could we alter the position we stand for the valk, to explain as we know the valk will always go for the closest edge so if possible id like for us to stack up on top of vrak (Marked target just slightly to the lower left of the middle), its important when defile comes you run out to the edges of the known trajectory path (creating a funnel effect in the other areas) specifically aiming to spread defile near the back stairs (where valks are less likely to go)

also please remember the following

In the first part, the Valks will come a while before the first Defile, so you’ll have plenty of time to let the Valks pick up the chosen players before you run to a good location. You’ll spread out, drop the defile, and then collapse in again for the next part.

The second part is a close call. The Valks will come, and then mere seconds after they pick up their target, the Lich King will cast Defile. Watch for the third valk to swoop down. The second it does, turn and run run run to your Defile spot.

The third part is fairly easy again. The Defile will come first, so don’t group back up right away. Stand back and bomb the Lich King. The Defile will come and be dropped, and as soon as that happens, everyone runs back and the process starts again.

Good thinking mate.. any idea to make things easier is always welcome.. We need to tweak the fight into something we find is best for us. I think as it is now it is a little bit too chaotic with valk's and defile and anything that can make it less chaotic will absolutely make things a lot easier! It also will help with the nuking of the valk's since it's now more or less on the edge to work or fail.

We will try what Xuthli wrote next time we get there. If we can have controll over defile Phase 2 will become so much easier.

Yeah, P2 is a lot like a safety dance where we have to really control how we move in and out. Maybe we could even practice it without LK where we just drill the movements so we can get a few more tries than the times we reach the phase with a full team.

Got my hit at 8.03, so close now just want more mastery!.

Reckon its worth everone having a watch of the phase 3 part again before we raid. It meant a hell of a lot more to me this time around now I've expeienced a decen chunk of it in person.

I found it interesting that they pretty much cock phase 3 up yet still get the job done. It's kind of hard to tell but I'm pretty sure they had only 6 left alive when LK 'died' and had used a rebirth. This means there's a bit of margin for error here (although perfect play is recommended ). These people got through p1 and p2 with everyone alive and about 8 mins on berserk timer during the second transition. We did this loads of times last night. WE CAN DO THIS SHIT!

Bring on tomorrow, It's been killing me having to wait lol
